DECYD Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. 14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
DECYD offers a 14-day refund period for all new subscriptions. This policy applies globally and matches or exceeds the minimum requirements of the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
Eligibility: First-time subscribers, within 14 days of purchase, who have used less than 15% of their monthly Stage query quota.
2. Usage Threshold for Refund Eligibility

If you exceed the threshold, you have received substantial value from the Service and are ineligible for a refund.
3. How to Request a Refund
- Email support@decyd.io with subject: “Refund Request — [Your Email Address]”
- Our team verifies eligibility within 1–2 business days.
- If approved, refunds are processed via Stripe within 5–7 business days.
- Account access is revoked immediately upon approval.
4. EU Consumer Rights Directive Compliance
Withdrawal Right:EU residents have a 14-day “cooling-off period.” DECYD applies this globally.
Service Begins Immediately: Per Article 16(a), withdrawal rights are subject to explicit consent and acknowledgment at checkout that eligibility ends upon substantial usage (15% threshold).
Cancellation Button:A “Cancel my contract” button will be implemented by May 2026 to meet the June 2026 EU requirement.
5. Canceling Your Subscription (No Refund)
You may cancel anytime via Account Settings → Subscription or through the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access until the period ends. No partial refunds are given for unused days in the current billing period.
6. Pro-Rated Refunds (Annual Plans Only)
Annual plans canceled after the 14-day window are eligible for a pro-rated refund for remaining full months, minus Stripe processing fees. Monthly plans are NOT eligible for pro-rated refunds.
7. Non-Refundable Scenarios
- Subscription renewals (i.e., any billing period after the first)
- Usage exceeding the 15% quota threshold
- Requests submitted after 14 days from the original purchase date (except annual plans as noted above)
- Accounts terminated for Acceptable Use Policy violations
- Chargebacks initiated without prior contact with support (results in permanent ban)
